It’s Only a Matter of Choice - Traditional vs Steam Cleaning

The success of every industry can be determined by the choices it made. Hotels and restaurants for instance, one of their top priorities aside from keeping the business running is to maintain the highest level of cleaning standards and hygiene for the customers to keep on coming back. Such goal can be achieved by choosing the most natural way of intelligent cleaning, the steam cleaner way.

What is a steam cleaner?
It is a new appliance that uses only a little water and a little electricity to sanitize, clean and deodorized any surface without the use of chemicals.

How does it work?
It only needs a bit of tap water. Steam cleaner then creates a low moisture vapor that carries heat to the surface you wish to treat. Heat combined with light agitation does the work. It comes with a large range of tools and accessories that can be used for an unlimited number of applications.

What is 'Dry' Steam Vapor?
Steam cleaner produces 94% dry steam through a high temperature 180°. This dry steam only has around 5% to 6% water and is much less dense than the air we breathe. A mess free technology having a temperature high enough to kill bacteria and germs, emulsify grease and oil as well as other surface contaminates. A completely hygienic and dry surface result.

What can I use it on?
Dry steam cleaning can be used on any surface except on those surfaces that are extremely heat sensitive. Surfaces like silks and some very thin plastics. Some types of velour upholstery must be treated with great care.

Where does the water go?
A steam cleaner has a special tank or boiler. This is where you put the water that is then converted into hot dry steam. One unique benefit of Tecnovap steam cleaner is producing low moisture, high temperature steam that carries only about 6% water called dry steam.

Why steam?
These are the top 5 reasons why you should use dry-steam cleaning.
1.    Surfaces are instantly cleaned and leaves it dry thus saving costly time without leaving any unhygienic residue.
2.    Bactericidal efficacy improved. It is already proven its effectiveness against Super Bugs (like MRSA).
3.    Environmentally friendly with low water consumption and chemical usage reduction.
4.    User-friendly. Very easy to use, ergonomically healthy and lowering cleaning associated risks.
5.    The most effective cost saving method not only on water and chemicals, but also on labor cost and time.

Traditional Method vs. Steam Cleaning

Traditional cleaning method. Also known as mop and bucket method that removes dirt mechanically by water and chemicals, but some dirt and even bacteria can stay in the pores of surfaces. This is ineffective method of cleaning because it does not thoroughly clean the surface  nor eradicate germs and bacteria, but merely redistributes the dirt collected in the bucket. It may look sparkling only for visual impression of cleanliness, but it is the hygienic environment we look after.

Steam cleaning method. With the use of steam cleaner, its high temperature steam can penetrate any surfaces deep down leaving the surfaces dry, clean and sanitize. High temperatures steam dissolve fats and oils and kills bacteria (most die at 185°F). Safer to use fast and very effective. Steam cleaning reduces the use of water by 90% to 95% and chemicals by 80% to 90%, a great way of environment care 100% chemical free.
